Chapter 10-

“Oooooooh, What’s this?” I heard Amelia and Rosie tease whilst they sat down next to me, waking me up. Amelia was holding my phone and read aloud “Thanks for a lovely night Daisy, would you like to go to the movies with me tomorrow afternoon? –Niall xx”

“You have to reply Daisy or he will think you’re ignoring him, because he sent it last night!”

I had my initial doubts but then I decided “I really like Niall, I am just worried about things” I admitted.

“Look, Daisy, you have always really liked Niall, defiantly go, as if you wouldn’t!” Amelia laughed. “Argh I’m starving, let’s have breakfast and talk” Rosie whined.

“Wait, so you were making out with Harry Styles!!” I exclaimed as Rosie told me about last night. “Yes! We are going to meet up today too!” Rosie giggled.
“Oh Rose, you lucky girl! Too bad Louis has a girlfriend, I really like him. I guess we could just be friends.” Amelia sighed.

“Don’t worry Amelia, friends is still good! Anyway, would you girls like to come shopping? I want to buy something new to wear for the movies!”  I asked excitedly.

“I am meeting up with Harry in…” Rosie checked her phone “Oh my god, an hour!” she squealed running towards her bedroom. I turned to Amelia and laughed “I guess it’s just you and me then.”

I finally reached the movie theater and walked inside to the air conditioned room which sent a shiver down my back, reminding me I forgot to bring a jacket. I was wearing a loose white top and an American Apparel velvet skirt that Amelia helped me pick today.

“Daisy!” I heard Niall’s voice call out. I turned around to see him walking towards me, wearing a nicely fitted polo, and a huge smile on his face.

“Hey!” I said back as he opened his arms for a hug and pulled me in close. “How are you?” he asked softly. My eyes were about level with his. Looking into his blue eyes almost lost, I felt so nervous and self-conscious.

“I’m really good, a bit tired from a day of shopping and helping Rosie get ready to go out with Harry and then trying to find my way here!” I said suddenly realizing I was rambling.

“Well, you will be able to relax in the theatre.” He grinned.

We bought our tickets and drinks and had just walked around to outside the door when he grabbed my hand and entered into the dark cinema room, slipping into seats nearing the back. We got there just in time since the movie had just started. I looked down at our hands still tangled together. He squeezed our hands and smiled at me.

As we stepped out of the cinema I excitedly said “Wow, that movie was actually really good, I wasn’t too sure at first!”

I knew most of my joy had occurred because Niall and I had shared a kiss during the movie!

Our lips had softly pressed against one another surrounded in the darkness of the cool theater with the heat of his hand gently placed on my jaw line. I rested my head on his shoulder afterwards and he whispered into my ear “I’ve wanted to do that for a while now.” how cliché I thought, but still adorable.

“Want to go get some dinner?” Niall asked. “Oh yes please! Mmm Food!” I laughed. “I love a girl with an appetite!” he excitedly replied leading me into a taxi.

“Get a room you two!” Louis shouted at Niall and me lying in the bush, our lips were just a few millimetres away. Both of us startled, sat up right away, Louis and Amelia burst out laughing. I felt my cheeks burn as I looked down at the ground, hair hanging over my face. I don’t know what I’m doing, would Niall really want to kiss me? I am only an average girl, he surely wouldn’t want anything to do with me … I felt warm fingers trail over my cheek pushing my hair behind my ear. Niall smiled at me, not knowing what to do, I nervously said “It’s really, really late I should probably get going now” then stood up and brushed grass of my legs. Still in my summery dress from the concert, I shivered as I was walking through the wind towards the others. I heard Niall catch up behind me and place his jacket over my shoulders. “Thanks” I whispered taking a quick look at him, I couldn’t tell what he was thinking but I could tell he looked sad.

The boys had walked us back to outside our hotel, Rosie and Harry had walked into the foyer to have some privacy for their goodbye. Louis and Amelia had already exchanged details, hugged, and went their own ways.

It was just me and Niall, I knew I had feelings for him; I was just trying to bury them, because I don’t think he feels the same way back, and besides that; things might not work out for us.

He grabbed my frozen hands and squeezed them, I looked up at him into his deep blue eyes, he smiled at me and I could have sworn that this moment lasted for hours, until suddenly I heard an unfamiliar voice.

“He is just using you! Do you actually think he would want a relationship with you, look at yourself! He would want to be with someone like me!” A girl with her red hair in a braid and a fringe, shouted at me with a group of friends laughing behind her. I recognized her from earlier; at the end of the concert; she must have over heard my conversation with Amelia and Rosie!

“Don’t talk to her like that, I’m not using her and you never know, I might want a relationship with her!” Niall defended. The girl looked shocked. “Ha! Okay, whatever…” she said then looked at me disgusted, “she’s not even pretty… have a nice night Niall, I’m a big fan of yours!” She smiled innocently then walked away with her friends trailing behind her.

“Don’t listen to her.” Niall whispered softly.

“Thanks Niall, I have to go, I’ll see you later, okay?” I said.

“Alright then, Goodnight” Niall replied, letting go of my hands, I forced a smile and walked away before anything else could happen. Walking through the foyer I passed Harry who was leaving, looking very cheerful and pleased. I forced another smile and said goodnight.

I sighed loudly as I collapsed in a heap onto the soft white sheets of the bed. Amelia and Daisy came out from another room jumping up and down with excitement until they spotted me, and gave me a questioning look. Amelia spoke “I thought you would have been screaming of happiness, Daisy!” I laughed, and then replied “Don’t get me wrong, it was a great night, just some things could have gone better.”

“Alright, we will talk in the morning” Rosie mumbled suddenly tired. I rolled over and closed my eyes and fell straight to sleep.

(Sorry for not posting in ages I haven’t had much time to run this tumblr any more, but I will try and keep posting the fan fiction!)
